Take a step back in time at Hard Times, USA, conveniently located on the Cumberland Plateau, atop Rocky River Mountain near Fall Creek Falls, Rock Island and Burgess Falls State Parks. This picturesque community will take you back to the early years of farmstead life, with our oldest cabin dating back to 1867. Meander throughout the community filled with antiques while taking a peak inside the Country Store, Gulf Gas Station or the Hard Times, USA Saloon. Stay in one of our fully furnished Cabins while taking a peaceful walk around the lake and across the covered bridges. Step into the Hard Times, USA Chapel with it's elegant antique church pews and beautiful hardwood floors, watch the water wheel work at the Grist Mill and so much more.
If you would like to unwind and unplug into a more simple time, this is the place for you. Our venue offers a rustic setting with:
